You are the one.

Part 1 of 3 part “Power of ONE” series

Have you ever thought about how precious you are to God? I mean, really. Have you soaked it all in, and meditated on the fact that YOU are the reason Christ was born and endured mistreatment? Only to be crucified, and further shamed in his death. And it was ALL for YOU! If you are looking for what true love looks like, my friend, that is the picture of it. In a nutshell? He left heaven, came to earth, paid a very high price, all because he loves you.

For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

John 16:27

John 3:16 is a very similar verse to the one above, adding to it the promise of everlasting life once we believe in Him. You are a pearl of great price to God. You are worth it all. All he gave up, all he suffered.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Matthew 13:45-46

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. (Insert your name here!)
How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Matthew 18:11-14

He knows you, he formed you in the womb, and he knew you were a sinner when he came. He came anyway. Thank Him. Praise Him. Accept his free gift of salvation. He is just waiting!

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Jeremiah 1:5

But God commendeth (proved, showed) his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:8

Enjoy this song by The Isaacs, that reminds us that he took our place on the cross at Calvary! Oh how much we have to be thankful for.
