My friend has this oak tree on her property that fell down years ago. I noticed the other day when I drove past it, that there are dozens of new little trees sprouting up on it. Doesn’t that describe most of us? What others see as hopeless, knocked down, or “on it’s last leg”, God can still do amazing things with! As long as you’re rooted in Him, he can grow you and use you mightily. Here are some verses that illustrate this truth. I hope they will be an encouragement to you! 🌳

As long as you are rooted in Christ…
Ephesians 3:17-19 ~ 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Keep your focus on Him and abound with new life!
Colossians 2:7-8 ~ 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
